MSP pickup is installed to a vintage 1970 CHAKI upright bass/double bass. MSP pickup can be attached by magnets and it does not need  modification for the upright bass to install MSP pickup.   These pictures are from an MSP pickup user. The build-in pickup in this electric gut guitar doesn't work, so the MSP pickup user installed our MSP pickup by his self.
